PERSONAL
I have lived in the Wichita Falls area since 1990 and have been an active full time Realtor since 2000. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, I grew up in and around the Chicago area of northeastern Illlinois. Attended Berklee College of Music (Boston), Northern Illinois University, and University of Tulsa (ME, MME). I was a high school band director for 7 years in Oklahoma and 9 years in Henrietta, TX. While Real Estate is more than a full time profession, I still keep to my musical side by teaching for an hour a day at Wichita Christian School where my 14 year old daughter (Alex) is a budding tenor saxophonist. My two sons are 20 and 22 and still trying to figure out "life". My wife (Michelle) and I are both from the upper Midwest and have found the people, climate and the “just the right size” of Wichita Falls to be enough of a city but without the big city problem to be a great environment to raise a family in. |

Along with the kids we live with our German shepherd, two cats, 5 guinea pigs, a rabbit, a blue tongue skin (lizard), a uromastyx (lizard) and adult red phase tegu (a 4’ long lizard that eats…a lot). I can occasionally be found around the area playing bass with various music groups (see my music page for dates/times!).
PROFESSIONAL
I am licensed Realtor with the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors as well as with the Wichita Falls Association of Realtors. I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and I specialize in helping families with single-family residences and income property in Texoma (which includes all of Clay, Wichita and Archer counties). As former public school teacher I can give you useful insight/information on the school systems and schools in our area both public and private, as well as explain the choice program that makes the Wichita Falls school system unique.
Buying a home is a 30 year commitment and is a decision that should not be taken lightly. It is important to consider the area, schools, neighborhood trends and potential as well as making wise decisions with financing. I am honored and humbled that I have been able to help over 500 families with these decisions in the past ten years and I look forward to visiting with you about your unique set of needs/wants/situations. As a former school teacher I truly mean it when I say “there are no stupid questions” when it comes to real estate!
